 Welcome to the web site for PrayerWrap (also under the name 'Written In Stone'). Written In Stone was founded the summer of 2002. We have so named our company as a tribute to my grandmother, Bertha Mae Stone. Bertha Mae was one of nine children born to Zachary and Bessie Stone. Bertha was a very strong woman in body, soul, and mind. Not that her life was easy - quite the opposite. Always, though, she endured hardships and stood solid. Her five children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren have vivid memories of her as a "rock" to be leaned on even in her final years. She loved to fish and did so up until her health kept her from enjoying this pleasure. It was her passion in life. The fish hook at the end of our company logo pays homage to this inspiring woman. She possessed a very deep faith in God and taught her children the meaning of a strong, Christ-filled spirit. Because she laid the stones of faith early in the lives of her children, all of us know the importance of a strong relationship with God. By making and promoting inspirational products, we hope to help bring the same message to others that Bertha Mae instilled in her family: "Lean on God daily, and He will keep you strong. He is your rock, and can be trusted in all matters. He will never leave you. His love is all around you, and His strength is inside you." We know that she would be pleased and honored that we have based our company principles on her strong character. As for the founders and "workers" of our company, some are young, some are "mature," and some are just beginning... all are creative and full of enthusiasm for our venture.
